Faron Lee
President, Owner
Faron is the Principal Owner and President of Southern Electric, a company founded by his father, Jack Lee, in 1963. Starting his journey in the electrical field alongside his father as a teenager in Hamilton, VA, Faron has shaped Southern Electric into a trusted provider of electrical services in the region. Beyond his professional role, Faron is a private pilot, motorcycle and muscle car enthusiast, and an active member of his local Christian community. He is deeply committed to his faith, family—his wife, five children, and seven grandchildren—and believes in giving back to the community, guided by the motto, “when it is within your power to do good, don’t withhold it.”
Danny Lee
Vice President, Owner
Danny Lee is the Vice President of Southern Electric, working alongside his brother, Faron Lee, to uphold the family legacy of excellence, integrity, and service. Raised in Hamilton, VA, Danny has a deep passion for his Christian faith and is actively involved in his local church. Outside of work, he is a proud family man, an avid gym-goer, and enjoys collecting and restoring classic cars. As a philanthropist and advocate for Second Amendment rights, Danny’s diverse interests and dedication make him a respected leader at Southern Electric and in the community.
John Anderson
Commercial & Residential Estimator/Project Manager
John Anderson has been a cornerstone of Southern Electric since 1992, rising through the ranks from field work to running the Woodbridge/Fredericksburg office, launching the Leesburg Service Department, and now focusing on estimating and project management. He cherishes time with his wife, three children—Joshua, Brandon, and Alyssa—and eight grandchildren, especially during their weekly Sunday family lunches. An outdoorsman at heart, John enjoys hunting, fishing, cheering for Virginia Tech and the Pittsburgh Steelers, and indulging in crab legs, blue crab, and a cold Mountain Dew.
Jan Barron
Commercial Estimator/Project Manager
As the Estimating Manager and Project Manager at Southern Electric since 2010, Jan brings a wealth of experience and leadership to every project. She is deeply committed to their family, loves exploring new places through travel, and cherishes the companionship of their beloved pets.
Lance Cross
Systems Integrations Lead
With a robust background in systems integration and project management, Lance Allen Cross leads systems integration at Southern Electric. His career began as a Residential Wireman, and he quickly advanced into leadership roles, contributing to major projects like the $500 million data center at Rosendin Electric. Lance has also managed projects up to $3 million for firms such as Power Services Inc. and Aldridge Electric. He holds several professional certifications and is proficient in software including Microsoft Projects, Bluebeam, and Procore. Outside of work, Lance enjoys riding motorcycles, exploring new places with his family, and drawing inspiration from music and art.
Sherrie Long
Office Manager
With nearly 30 years of experience at Southern Electric since joining in 1996, Sherrie Long serves as the dedicated Office Manager, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations. She is passionate about cooking and baking, finding joy in creating delicious meals and treats for those around her. Sherrie also loves traveling with her husband, regardless of the destination, and adores her furry companions who bring a special joy to her life.
Mackenzie Jackson
Coordination Manager
Mackenzie serves as the Coordination Manager at Southern Electric, overseeing project coordination and ensuring seamless workflows since 2021. With a background in project management and a keen eye for detail, she ensures projects are delivered on time with precision. Outside of work, Mackenzie is dedicated to fitness, often found weight lifting before dawn and embracing various workouts for balance and focus. She has a passion for photography and travel, capturing the beauty of the world through her lens while exploring new cultures. In her downtime, Mackenzie enjoys reading and cherishing quality time with her family.

Rafael and Max have been a dynamic duo in Southern Electric’s Service Department. Rafael’s two decades of experience and meticulous attention to detail ensure every job is completed to the highest standards, while Max’s quick learning and dedication to quality make him a standout technician. As in-laws, their personal bond translates into seamless teamwork and mutual respect on the job. Together, they deliver exceptional service and share a commitment to excellence that enriches the Southern Electric team.
Michael (Vinny) Alba
Service Technician
Vinny Alba has been a dedicated Service Technician at Southern Electric since 2017, known for his exceptional customer service and the highest number of great reviews from clients. Before joining Southern Electric, Vinny lived in Las Vegas, bringing a unique perspective and resourceful approach to his work. Outside of work, he loves incorporating dill pickles into his meals, enjoys live music, and once even crowd surfed at a concert, reflecting his adventurous spirit.

Front Desk Receptionist
As the Front Desk Receptionist at Southern Electric since 2023, Rachel brings enthusiasm and a welcoming spirit to the team. She has a passion for board games, model kits, and knitting, and is often invited to conventions to teach board games. Cory Rollins has been the Fredericksburg Division Supervisor at Southern Electric since 2021, bringing a wealth of knowledge and dedication to his role. As a former Marine, he applies his strong work ethic, discipline, and leadership skills to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards. Outside of work, Cory enjoys staying active through hiking, running, and workouts, and he values spending quality time with family and friends. Shawn Lipscomb
Berryville Division Supervisor
Shawn Lipscomb, who joined Southern Electric in 1997, is the Berryville Division Supervisor and brings a wealth of experience and a dedication to excellence in all he does. A former United States Marine Corps member, Shawn’s leadership skills and precision drive success in his role. Outside of work, he is deeply involved in his community, coaching and refereeing youth soccer for Berkeley County Parks and Recreation for over a decade.

Since 2023 in his current role, he has been a key part of our team, valued for his commitment to quality and operational excellence. A passionate Washington Commanders fan, Zach enjoys cookouts and preparing meals for gatherings with family and friends. Alongside his professional dedication, Zach cherishes time spent with his wife, whether exploring new places or hosting family events.

Tyler Titus, who joined Southern Electric in May 2019, serves as our Purchasing Manager, leveraging his extensive supply chain expertise to ensure smooth operations. A veteran, Tyler brings a unique perspective and leadership skills to his role, further strengthening our team. Beyond work, he is dedicated to maintaining an active lifestyle through regular workouts at the gym and enjoys playing golf and watching football. Tyler’s greatest joy is spending quality time with his three children, whether they’re playing sports or exploring new adventures together. I volunteer with several programs that support individuals recovering from substance abuse disorders and alcoholism. When not at work, I cherish spending time with my family, often preparing home-cooked meals for them.
